The Hunter wrote:Colo kept very well against Keswick on Saturday. I think he finished with 2 stumpings for the day and a catch, but did keep very well. Also, the keeper for keswick handled himself very nicely to take 3 catches and a very good stumping. Also peeled off 45 at the end of the innings to nearly get keswick over the line. Keswick dropped nearly 10 catches in the field and worky smashed 26 of one scott martin over. i too am happy that first ones out the way. Back in cricket mode now!!

Agree the Keswick keeper probably deserved 4 votes. Colo deserved 4 or 5. Keeping cleanly up at the stumps to the medium pacers does put you a step ahead of most others. Keswick had it setup at drinks at 2/90, but unfortunately played for spin when they faced Calderbank after drinks. Calderbank 8 overs, 3/8.

Russel King batted well for WYC in their B's after playing and missing at 6 balls in a row from Peter Gladigau , they were 2/39 @ drinks and ended up with 193....

Nah AF it is where he will be spending all of 2008/09 he says he isn't up to 75 overs anymore and it isn't a bad thing for the club as we give a young guy a go in the A's and he helps the b grade out.

How old is Kingy? Not as old as pressy i bet. Big loss if not in As. Always made runs against us, never one to be controlled.

You are right AF Kingy is 6 years younger than Pressy and whilst he is a loss we are confident we have the young fellas to step up and perform well enough for us to be around the mark again come finals time.
