He'd be a senior assistant is my understanding + look after the mids with Reeves assisting in that area

Carr - Senior
Collins - Director of Coaching
Goldsack - Defence
Reeves - Stoppage work, contest coaching, and opposition analysis

TBC :
Webster - Has been both forward and defensive line coach
Dew - I'd say midfield
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Bartel has not accepted the GM of Footy role, family comes first.

Unless Port were offering huge coin why would he move
He’s got his media work in Melbourne and family all there

Why does anyone move? Professional development and a new challenge, that's why.

I get that but he’s had similar roles before
What would this role offer over and above previous roles?

With young kids seems a no brainer he’d stay in Melbourne

Bartel has no shortage of Melbourne clubs chasing him if he doesn’t want to uproot his family

Different to what he was at GWS where he was Football Director on the clubs Board probably meeting monthly or quarterly - like Riccuito at Adelaide - not General Manager of Football which is a hands on day to day job so quite different.

Moot point anyway.
