Daleks fly!!!! They can also fly through space (no need for ships - except for initial transport)
Daleks have greater fire-power - individual cunning (rather than a group mind), greater manoeverability, greater protection (It takes a hell of a lot to destroy one)
oh - and just to annoy the Trekkies - the Borg are just second-rate rip-offs of Cybermen anyway!!!!

but the collective consiousness is more powerful THAN individual cunning, that's the point...they're more adaptive...they'd get one MAYBE two shots from their pittiful lasers...then the Borg adaptivity kicks in...then no more lasers....the Borg even have an impressive voice...unlike the grating of Daleks (that is the Di-ah-lekts, lol)
the Borg can walk....even upstiars... greater manoeverability
adaptive shielding... greater protection
and they'd be able to inject their nano-bots to screw up ALL the Di-ah-lekts...
and they may be rip-offs...but they've surpassed those that were their image... so NER!
They wouldn't get close enough to Daleks to assimiliate - They'd be wiped out before they could try...
As I said - Cybermen wanna-be's
and to quote the Daleks:
"One Dalek is enough to detroy 100 Cybermen"

Individual thought is and has been far more important than a group mind... That's why everything from "1984" down has stressed the value of thought and self-control over a group mentality...that's what makes the Daleks superior - they don't rely solely on the command from the group....Collective consciousness is a weakness - not a strength
They'd never get past the Daleks' tri-poly-carbonate shielding to assimilate them...
And Daleks can fly/float/atttack from the skies....more manoeverability than the Borg could ever hope for.
It has been theorized that the Borg were originally a humanoid species that became so dependent on technology that they eventually lost most of their "humanoid qualities and are now mostly machine" ("Information about the Borg"). Speculation is that the Borg essentially built themselves; in the process of trying to perfect their whole by using cybernetic enhancements, they permanently crossed the boundary between human and machine
The BBC should have sued!!
