Have to admit I had to do some digging on IMDB to gain a better insight into what was really going on.
Recommend a repeat viewing -if only for a couple of scenes

Any Wes Anderson film just gives me the shits looking at the poster.

I hired Royal Tennenbaums because I heard it was a very clever comedy and the reviews sounded like something I'd really get into. I fell asleep about 15 minutes into it and the chick I was going out with at the time woke me up about an hour after that and said I got the better end of the stick and wanted to switch it off and go to bed. She said it was garbage.

I just cant bring myself to watch any of his other movies after that.

I think about the only thing I'd be keen on seeing of his would be if he jumped into the UFC octagon and had the shit kicked out of him and I could watch it in super slow motion.

I did re-view quite a few times, but the first couple I got distracted, and then think I made progress but still not certain .. I just figured that Naomi Watt's character was deluded and saw herself and her world differently to that it actually was (which we later saw).
