Rd 22 v Norwood is shaping up as a massive game. Would be perfect it that game is for minor premiership.

In the post-1991 era, biggest I've seen out there would be 8000 against Sturt in 2002.

North, Glenelg and Port supporters generally travel well to Elizabeth no matter what the on-field form is.
Norwood and Sturt supporters travel well when the team is doing well but tend to drop off when the teams are struggling.
South, West and Eagles supporters tend to have very small travelling support to Elizabeth regardless of form.

Thanks mate, from the gibes I'd seen on here I thought maybe the Bays fans didn't travel up there much (which I thought odd because they generally seem good travellers) .. None of the others come as much surprise.

A couple of opportunities to push that record later in the season - not only the abovementioned Norwood game but the stand-alone game against Sturt a few weeks prior would probably attract quite a few neutrals (if Sturt were having a better season, this game could have probably cracked 9000-10000).

Sorry Phil but I don't agree. The population of Adelaide has grown at 1.2% per year for some time now.
If 3,502 is compounded at that rate for 10 years then we would be acheiving 3,946 per game to keep up with the population growth. In other words, in real terms we are slowly slipping backwards and clubs will find it increasingly difficult until they change their business plan.
