I am all for clubs maintaining standards, but FFS the lad wanted to play one more game in the top end before returning match fit and focused on Glenelg. There is a pretty hefty intangeable called 'morale' and this decision must surely put another dent in what is already a questionable atmosphere at the Bay.
Sturt set high standards for training and committment but if they were as rigid as the hierarchy at Brighton Road then the likes of Brant Chambers would have been sacked years ago. He, for example, has gone up North for work and footy almost annually over his Sturt career. Yes, he comes back a little late BUT he comes back fit and hungry. He is made to catch up and complete set training standards which he is happy to do.
Get your heads out of the sand boys, if all is really well at the Bay then I'm a Chinaman.
Lets get this straight, it wasnt Mickan or GFC's final decision, it was Mouse's - he made the final choice....
Im hearing the leadership group havd a huge say in this also, which makes me even more comfortable with the decision...
