I have just been informed that I was wrong to say that Norwood have dropped games against lower sides. I guess it would be more accurate to ask why Norwood can give the doggies trouble but drop games against teams lower than the doggies.
That was the way I read your first post anyway mate, and who knows ... Personally I think addressing the coaching concern that existed at the start of the season was a significant (albeit too late) step.
I think Mal was pretty accurate in his last post, the earlier Parade meeting between these two teams was of a higher standard, and probably a better quality contest.
Whether it helps any into the future remains to be seen, but IMHO it was critical for Norwood to arrest the mental hold Central have had over them - As I said this game doesn't necessarily give Norwood any edge, but another loss after leading for so long could surely have been detrimental for the Legs.
A lot of Norwood players have carried around some bad mental baggage for a long time, I think it's important the current crop of kids don't get tainted with the same scars
