Congratulations Jimmy Allan - very deserving winner.

Another evenly spread vote again this season to the Eagles boys with Scotty Lewis our leading vote getter with 14 votes, an outstanding effort in his first season at the club.

Great speech I thought, very heartfelt, with a touch of humour - a good mix ;)

Everyone can sit here an bitch and whinge about who they think should have won.

Years ago we wouldn't have questioned the winner. Let the poor bloke have his 15 mins of fame without shooting him down FFS :?

If only the 3 votes in that R5 North-Glenelg game went to Allen and not Allan :(

Not sure Ty was our best that game but I can name half a dozen players who were better than James Allan

Yes, I agree Ty didn't deserve any votes in that game but you never know what the umpires are thinking.

Did I just hear Kelly say 'The Fat Lady has sung?'
Who could she be referring to?

We had a worse start under Jonas than North have had under Heals and yet he led us to a premiership.
Silly move, North!

?

x2 ??

Maybe a slight exaggeration on saying our start was worse but I can remember that Jonas was under a lot of pressure from many Central supporters at first. It took a fair while before we started to have success. He had to change our game plan to the same way Heals has been trying to change North's.
Anyway, that is for another discussion. Tonight is James's night - well done!
