I was told by a former club official, that the SANFL aren't to blame for this, it's what the clubs wanted.

Not our club - I know we strongly opposed it because of the likely decrease in crowd numbers. Although there are other factors as well, a price increase doesn't help!

I agree .. I have no idea whether my mail was correct, but it wouldn't surprise me given the number of clubs in need of extra $$ (not that an increase will help that if volume drops)
