You dont survive in the umpiring profession over 15 years and win the awards and accolades he has if you are as ****house at the job as one eyed biased fans think Richard is. Top umpire, Top Bloke. Deserves far more respect. if only players at my club made as few mistakes as he does per weekend.

I agree sledging from a player to an ump about a decision is fine as is an umpire sledging a player about a skill error or something similar, but what RW said to Howard at the game at Adelaide Oval was something an umpire shouldn't say whether he believes it or not.

probably a fair bit from when he clobbered him at Richmond Oval, wasn't a bad one that one :D .
