Perhaps a little generous in my assessment of the surface but at the end of the day the ball bounces true and the players will find if they have the correct boots on it won't be a problem.
I get a little peeved when people bag the playing surface. I feel a lot of the criticism is based on how it was in 2005 and 2006 and that seems to have stuck. At that time the oval was very ordinary but a fair bit of work has gone into improving it. The lack of rain over the last two winter's helped also.
Unley Oval will be ready to go this Saturday and the best side will take the two points.

At least we can spread our seating out at the Fortress unlike the half a ground at the playground.

Can't argue with you there ME, there is always plenty of vacant space at Woodville Oval.
So how about the game Budgie fans? The only prediction of sorts so far has come from holden78 who thinks Eagles by 8 points IF it is wet and boggy......Not exactly supremely confident.
All be tuning in to AA at 4.30 eagerly awaiting the Crows line up?
