Second best option, behind AFL clubs fielding their reserves in Someone Else's Competition.

Agreed best option for sa football. Would like to know reasons why crows/power are against the idea.
I know some port fans who agree reserves is the best option for all.

Am I correct thinking there will be no decisions made yet (until licence issues are finalised)?

I don't think the standard is that much different between Div 1 ammos and SANFL Ressies

The Crows proposal is all about gaining their own Reserves side playing in the League competition. It's a mercenary stance and any benefits to the SANFL are secondary in their line of thinking.
Port Adelaide simply want ALL their SANFL and AFL players at Alberton. Junior development and maintaining their link to the local community is intricately linked to their proposal.
And yet for this contribution Port Adelaide are portrayed as the bad guys in this.

Good luck keeping all that when you're free of the SANFL and the AFL have control of your licence.
