I agree there wasnt enough time for them to score just thought it was interesting.

I think the same thing happened in the GF last year.

Another point I would like to raise is a few occasions yesterday (and probably a lot in other games) where the umpire stops play and straightens up the the player taking the kick. Granted if a player is in a position to take a shot for goal the kicker should be on the correct angle but if its way down the ground and doesn't make an impact on the play, why stop play, let the game go on. We all know umps miss some decisions but too technical on others.

Not the first time the siren has sounded at an odd time at Norwood oval when Norwood is leading in a close one, I remember a 24 minute last quarter a few years ago when Norwood were only up by a point or two.

Happened in 1996...the legendary 23 minute last quarter. Norwood got up by a point at Elizabeth Oval...

I witnessed scenes that i've never seen since at a Footy match! Caused mostly because of the rule change that year and the club forgetting to paint the clock section between the 20 to 25 minute in yellow. Siren went and everyone went apeshit because the clock "showed" we hadn't entered time on yet (when we had because of the new rule change).

We found the true shooter of JFK he was at the Norwood Oval in the last quarter just ask Andrew Hayes.

This, coming from the same group of supporters who thought it was so funny that Simoin Phillips had his jaw broken last year.

Did Hayes cop one behind play? A bit different to Simion Phillips getting his jaw busted whilst the ball was in the immediate vicinity, this has been done to death, he was not found guilty so move on....or shall We keep harping on about Macca's cowardly attack on Dew all those years ago? It's pointless. Get over it.

The one where Dew squealed like a little pig and then "dobbed" at the Tribunal to cost Macca a Premiership??? Fat Mongrel.

I understand where CP's coming from. I expected Norwood to win this game and when they came from 15 pts. down to get 22 up they should've gone on and won by 5 or 6 goals. That they didn't should give no-one any confidence that they could possibly knock off the Dogs in October.

I can see I'll have to pin my hopes on the league's most exciting side, North, with a hat trick of winnable home games coming up, to rip up the competition and give Centrals something to think about in the GF.
