Like most teams injuries play a major part but if North can get Allan and Alleway on the park more than last season i think they will improve just on that alone.
Also how many games did Matty Wright play last year, i rate this bloke very highly and think his ready to have a big year with the roosters possibly cracking the crows side late in the year.
Throw in a fresh start with a more attacking game plan and i think the players are really going to have 'fun' with Francou in his first year of coaching.

I am inclined to agree. Last year North won 9 matches, I thought either Allan or Alleway was North's best player in 8 of those 9 wins. I said at the time that without those two North would have been down with South and Port.
That is why I was amazed when the Advertiser journalist who rated the top 50 SANFL players had Allan only 7 and Alleway a laughable 46. He obviously never saw them play, I haven't seen two blokes carry a side more in a long, long time.
I'll pay that. For the past 4 or 5 seasons it seems that we were going to or slip down the ladder, except for last year when many people had us finishing top.
