Sam Harvey Wins Rd 10 Macca's Cup MVP Nomination

Sam Harvey from Woodville-West Torrens Football Club is the Round 10 Macca’s Cup Most Valuable Player nominee.
Playing in the forward pocket, Harvey was instrumental in the Eagles’ victory over Norwood last Saturday.
His match statistics included seven goals, seven behinds and 24 possessions.
Judges said he looked dangerous throughout the match and showed excellent creativity over the four quarters. His strong marking was a feature and his seven-goal haul was a great return for his efforts.
ABOUT THE MACCA’S CUP MOST VALUABLE PLAYER AWARD
The Macca’s Cup MVP will recognise a ‘rising star’ of the Macca’s Cup (U18s competition) each week of the 2009 season.
Nominations are considered by a selection panel headed by SANFL Talent Manager Brenton Phillips and Talent Coordinator Mark McKenzie.
Weekly nominees will receive a Skins garment and be in the running to win the end-of-year Macca’s Cup MVP medal and $1000 cash courtesy of McDonald’s.
