OK, my tips for this week, FWIW:

WWT and Sturt on Sunday is a GF preview, hard to go past the Iggles at home but Sturt will give them a run for their money, especially with Aiden Riley back in. As a consequence the Iggles will gain a useless psychological advantage for the finals.

The POSAs should knock off the resurgent Westies, especially with the return of 'Crows ball magnet' Scott Thompson (if he's such a ball magnet, why isn't he still in their AFL side?).

The Bays to pip Soufs at their home ground in a tight encounter. The knives will come out and the Panthers move one step closer to apostasy for Buddha.

The Never Tear Us Aparts will probably do that to Centrals. Butcher to cop some mild abuse from a young teenager in an Port jumper...could be on or off the field, hard to tell at this stage.

Norwood can pick their own margin against North. If they're smart they'll wait until 'lemon time' to turn up at the ground and do enough to win by simply walking onto the oval and gently gesturing in the direction of the footy. Also, Leigh Ryswyk to enjoy his own personal mid-season break interstate, the club will advise when his testimonial slide-show evening will be held in due course.

An alarming thought! If it gets to that point then 'Buddha' may start to grow his hair long and sport a longish beard whilst wearing a long robe and sandals. His magnetic boards will be discarded, to be replaced by stone tablets with player names etched onto them. His assistant coaches will be renamed Peter, Paul etc, you get the drift...
South to beat Glenelg in a close one, though Glenelg at home are usually very tough, they seemed to have lost a little zip since the beginning of the year.

In the dictionary, under four point game" there is a picture of this match".

Must.Win.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Taken a while for the Tony Bamford inspired Panther Academy to produce results but is now happening big time, recent fairer zone changes have also assisted, Panther u/18's lost only one game so far this season. A cracker of a game this week against the Bays i think the Bays at home could make my weekend miserable. Check out debut ruckman from New York USA, number 28 he is one big unit.

The reversal of round 1 where the Eagles were pretty much full strength and Sturt had the injuries. That being the case, I think Sturt will win. It will be good exposure to finals type pressure for our many younger players introduced this year and will hold them in good stead for the future.

The Big five.... 8)

With respect to our game, the reality is whoever loses, whilst not out of finals consideration, is going to have to start to rely on other teams losing or having to beat teams ranked above them on the ladder (AKA upsets)

Thats presuming Norwood beats North - Reckon Prospect might be a fair Banana skin in the run home.

I'm sure it wont be hard for you Bays fans to barrack for North, given they're your 2nd team and all ;)
