R15 - WWT Eagles v North @ Prospect

NORTH
North ball magnets Jay Shannon and Michael Virgin have been included in the Roosters’ 23-man squad to face the Eagles at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Saturday.
Both usually fixtures in the club’s IGA League outfit, Shannon and Virgin have been accumulating plenty of the ball in the seconds as evidenced by the statistics sheet in Round 14.
Virgin finished with 40 disposals, 12 marks and a goal against Glenelg while Shannon racked up 29 possessions, 10 marks, eight clearances and two goals.
But Roosters coach Josh Carr could elect to take an unchanged line-up into the clash, forcing Shannon and Virgin to again ply their trade in the curtain-raiser.

Reckon this one's at Prospect, not Woody Park.

Eagles should be too strong for the inconsistent Roosters.

No surprise there.

I went on the heading alone, didn't read the preview. Wasn't having a go, Dutchy, BTW. :)

He's right though. Going by the SANFL's write-up the North team are playing at Woodville and the Eagles are playing at Prospect. Should be an interesting contest, promising open and free-flowing football with most players playing wide of one another.

I'm going to drive past both ovals just to make sure. On Saturday and Sunday. ;)

Each week you always look for that potential upset, and this week it could be at Prospect. North are an enigma this year, playing some great footy one week, and some not so great footy the next week whilst the Eagles have been known to throw in a howler every now and then. Odds should be pretty good for a punt on the Roosters.
North by 20-25 points.
