Supercoach rd 1 let the games begin!

Postby nuggety goodness » Mon Apr 04, 2016 9:50 pm

So to trade or not to trade that is the burning question. Structural trades, rage trades and scrambling in those super cash cow trades...

Who's in and who's out?

Plenty of solid rookies out scoring the premiums and a few premiums down for the count or just running on the spot!

Will wingard miss games? If he misses more than 2 then out he goes from my side... hammy's can be terrible things...

Will barlow extract a digit? I think ross has killed his scoring so out he goes i reckon!

I already have many of the good rookie priced players in Papley, Adams, Kerridge, Mcdonald-Tipungwuti (surely we'll have to shorten that), Davis, Brown, Dea, Mcgovern plus others who are holding their own in Mills, Dunkley, Gresham and they can slowly build some rises...

So that leaves Kennedy, Hewett, Menadue and Parish as the other cows i could snap up or a decent performing underpriced premium or someone stepping up into that bracket...

I reckon I'll be looking at;
IN: B Kennedy and Zaharakis
OUT: Barlow and one of Gresham, Petracca (how much longer is he out for?) or Wingard if he's gone for any length of time...

Bring on the H2H!
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

You should hold Petracca. He'll play very soon and should play well. His price is too high to use as a cash cow downgrade, so he becomes a unique pick that could prove useful

Petracca dominated in the VFL apparently.

I'm keeping him

Petracca I would be holding, racked up 20 possessions in a half on the weekend plus he is a good loophole option for VC and emergencies.

With McGlynn just about right Papley might get the chop sooner rather than later. Not sure if I want to waste a trade to get him in, even if he does make a quick $150

I am up the proverbial already;
Rockliff, Duncan, Barlow and De Goey under the pump.
2 underperforming rucks in Jacobs and Gawn.

Will see what the selection table brings but at this stage it doesn't look good.
Some of the above I will just need to take a big paper value hit and hope they can start to get their scores up to scratch.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Last week wasn't a good one for us Duncan owners. He had zero influence and was then Mummified. He could have come back on last week but the club erred on the side of caution. However he has tweeted that he is fine and I expect him to not only play, but score well against the Brions. We have a good draw so I'm not pulling the trigger on Mitch.

Fair call this. Agree with your Petracca call also. I'm trading Oliver for Kennedy and Cash and holding Pendles but I'm worried about him.

Kennedy in for sure. Papley has scored well so far but IMO wont continue. He relies to much on goals to score rather than possessions and tackles

I have gone Barlow down to Stringer to enable me to upgrade Rocky to Priddis.

Still not concrete on this yet, though.

Papley is not a keeper so if you don't have him yet probably not but if you have him already its the shit.

Well ive never been in this position before. No need to make any trades, have all the right rookies.

Just a couple trades to generate some cash and get rid of my 2 worst performing players.
Pendlebury to Liberatore
Seedsman to Johannisen

One poor rookie in Corey Ellis but will get rid of him next week when Hartley is on the bubble.
Rucks maybe a concern with Gawn and Smith but will ride it out this week and I now have the cash to upgrade Smith to pretty much anyone next week if he has another downer.

Not convinced Pendlebury is fit, he's probably the 1st guy picked every year so I may change my mind. Will definitely pick him up again later after he bottoms out

You can reverse up until the first game of the round.
Pretty sure it was like that last year
