Even in this electronic age, seems its the best we can hope for.

I was actually reading a hard copy today of another Rucci article in regards to the WAFL stadium setup and management. As per normal he goes off on a massive tangent but at least he started from a factual point before he rambled with his opinion which was aimed at shock crap.

As for the article in question, the paper at work I was going to use has apparently gone to the most useful place possible for it. Some cat litter apparently. Sorry Boon. Hopefully someone who has as subscription will post it up here.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

The WA Stadium set up is very complex. Something Michaelangelo would really struggle with.

Anything - smoke signals, an Aldis lamp, even Semaphore (Booney should be literate on that one).

Of concern should be the comments of Gilligan on Triple M this morning regarding the AFL Club Academy set ups.. Not being restricted to indigenous or multicultural, Clubs will be able to take kids from 12 years of age to participate in their system.. What will this do to the COE the SANFL currently have let alone local footy.. Maybe the Cows and ferals will have juniors in the comp as well going forward..

I think that is what will happen down the track. The AFL and SANFL have long stated our competition is a pathway. Not sure about that when there is a roundabout now in the way. How the SANFL cannot break the hold of the AFL is getting ridiculous. The sale of the licences as I have said many times , should have been a lot more and could have set a few things apart. We still rely to much on AFL funding unfortunately.
Funds of the licences and the footy park sale should be invested with a mutual benefit to the clubs annually. Huge opportunity missed I feel.

Why not just align it to an AFL National reserves U23 competition.
Then all the pain and negativity for the real SANFL clubs and supporters goes away.
Also the cost to run the SANFL would reduce substantially
(including the net negative cost of the Crows upkeep of the white Elephant in the room footy park).
Over half a million dollars a year has been quoted on this site.
Does anyone know the actual debt the SANFL is carrying at the moment please?

As my wife would say 'too much imformation'.
How much is the SANFL in debt?
I wonder why,
and this year's programming,well 5 byes that's another story!
The clubs simply don't need the extra revenue, they can just pay off the debt some time in the future!
