If port are looking for compo for having picked up Monfries, then the obvious entity to seek compensation from is Monfries.

They will be able to argue that Monfries was aware or should have been aware that he had broken the rules that left him liable to a sanction.

We do not know if he did or did not do this.

Huh? So,by rights, Essendon should pursue all their current and former players?

No. Essendon signed or resigned those players with knowledge of the "supplements".

Port had no such Knowledge.

Surely they knew Ryder was a risk and the issue was Monfries? :-s

Like most of the other drama queens, you clearly haven't read the article.

Got a knock to the knee, got up, got jogging with a bit of a hobble and kept training.

Move along now.

Yep, settle down, it was just a broken nail on his left little pinky....

Nothing to see here, move on.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Settle down... I read it!!!

Talk about drama queens...

Well, he didn't "hurt himself", and your smart arse "Pretty surprised Dixons hurt already" smacks of being a peanut wanting to shit stir.

Tried to shit stir = Failed. Move along.

So he was in zero pain than?

In all seriousness Booney with this latest development do you think you can look forward to 2017 to be competitive again or is that too soon?

Might be too soon, I'm thinking '30-'33 we should be back around the mark.

However, seeing he did just knock his knee and fall over I might have reason to be a little more optimistic.

I think you're overly optimistic, I can't see the Power ever recovering from this as a club.

With Patrick 'Puzzle Piece' Ryder out for the year, how will Port complete the puzzle when they are missing a piece?

I can't help but find myself comparing it to the mess Essendon are in. We're in it just as deep!

News is filtering through of someone losing their lucky jocks....looks like I'll have something else to do this winter.

You best ask the scribes who called him that, it didn't emanate from Alberton. ( The club, or my house, that is )

This catastrophe just goes to show what a dangerous workplace professional football clubs are. I just hope he's insured.
