Absolutely flogged. Terrible skills, players not working hard enough, 6 goals from 62 entries, bruise free footy, a team that's gotten ahead of themselves. Back to basics for out bogey team next week

It's funny because the Power supporters near where I was, many of them wearing the 'Never Tear us Apart' shirts, started turning on each other in the last quarter. I thought it was quite ironic the way things degenerated. Then, in the 'Never Give Up' spirit, plenty of them upped and left with 10 minutes remaining, which kind of surprised me given that it's Round 2 and they were playing one of the better teams. Things aren't going to get any easier for them.

That was absolute crap, he was invited but declined. He admitted so himself.
Disappointing that his grudge against the current board stopped him from going Friday night. Was a great night by all reports that was purely to celebrate 84/85 with no mention of the current side or any other premiership sides. The other players flew from all around Australia and even overseas, Neale Daniher even attended

Speaking of Bomber, saw him on Footy 360 and on the radio yesterday. He maintains that he never received the face to face invite that Essendon said he did. When quizzed that he must have known it was on he said it was a low priority for some past players as they are still heavily involved in football. He was quizzed as to whether he had moved house, changed phones email etc and said no change for five years. He did say that Geelong often failed to get his address right but no problems with Essendon.

His final word was that he had made a commitment to be somewhere and he honoured it.

He has a full time gig doing special comments if he wants it. Outstanding today.
