No
A compo pick is awarded after your pick so Carlon could of got pick 2&3.
If and thats a big IF Carlton get a band 1 compo for Kreuzer they will now get 1&2. No way will they get band 1 for him IMO unless someone offers him a stupid deal

Pies reportedly offering $600k a year. That'll likely be band 1 and pick 2 to the blues

I just dont think this is a good move. Grundy and Witts are very capable and really will Kruzer give you that much more and at that price.

Witts + pick 7 to GWS for Treloar

Up to the AFL discretion aswell. No way will they let the Lions miss out on a top 2 pick.

And there lies in a single word the AFL corruption - 'Discretion'

Grundy is developing nicely, so not sure kreuzer will give them much more over him, unless they recruit Kreuzer primarily as a forward that can ruck. i guess that might work

That's what they'd be thinking, so Jesse White might find himself on the outer

But as a forward Kruzer makes a good Ruckmen if you now what I mean.

I just think the pies are burning $$$ here. Because as I said Grundy is capable, needs support but is capable. Darcy Moore is one up forward for the future. I have only seen him a few times and liked what I have seen. So really he should be partnering Cloke. So what ia Kruzer going to be doing?

Just my thoughts. I would have thought you guys would be better of going after Carlise to sort out the back end.

I'd take Kruezer if we didn't over pay. $600K seems too much.

Thats what I'm getting at. Just way to much. If your going to spend up like that, might as well get a KPP and not a ruckmen playing as a forward.

Massive news with GWS forward Cam McCarthy wanting a trade back to WA despite still being contracted. Freo would be licking their lips at finally being able to get that key forward they desire so much. Would probably cost them 2 first rounders as a bare minimum

Yep, Freo would be throwing the sink at him. West Coast, not so much, no spot available.

wow thats huge. reckon he looked great, especially first half of the year. Reckon freo would have been in his ear all year, and when he got dropped he probably made up his mind.
