Nick Liddle will play his 100th game. Conditions should be perfect. South would like to win by eight goals.

Looking fwd to this game. Booked a table at Jimmy Deane's for lunch with a couple of mates.
South seem to match up on us very well in recent years and have a very good kicking game that can break the lines very quickly. We'll have to be hard at our opponents and run and chase and tackle hard to win. Hopefully we get Bartlett and Hinge back to help out down back. Would love to tie up second place and head into finals with a solid win......we did that against WWT a few years ago and got thumped the following week.
Go you Blues.

I actually think my thread about this same topic is much cooler than yours, Big Phil.
Maybe a mod can combine the two, so that the discussion isn't replicated or simply lost.

This game deserves two threads. And a bit of debate.

South deserve the double chance.

Wouldn't mind seeing Hourigan come in for Overall. Cailotto will be a little unlucky if he makes way for Bass.

Well done to South. The positive for us is that some of our players that are content to go for an afternoon jog and call it a game of footy are now fully exposed and can be dropped. Some disgraceful efforts today.

3rd quarter was the difference.
Sturt looked good in 1st half - thought they kept South in the game in the 2nd term.

That said, South mucked around with the ball - kicking sideways & backwards, that was awful footy IMHO.
Then the change in the 3rd was completely different, started going direct & 'bugger me', kicked goals.
They will need to do that next week, if they hope to progress to the 1st Semi Final.

Go win though :D
