Wilson is an interesting one.

Many people despise her, it seems you are one of them, but people in high places decide to pay her (quite handsomely I'd imagine) to ask those questions and do a job. A job she's been doing for years. Journalism isn't a hobby, it's a profession and many of them act in that manner, as professionals.

Mick needs to pull his head in and worry more about coaching his side than biting the head off anyone who dares question him or his actions.

I cant stand Wilson and havnt for many years, she turns everything into personal attacks and vendettas. She has had a long running feud with Essendon going back 30+ years and refuses to let go.
Be interesting to see how she goes now Demetriou isnt leaking to her anymore

the interesting thing is she was right about all the essendon stuff, even though she had to sustain vitriolic attacks from every essendon supporter

Not talking about her latest stuff.
She has had a long running feud from the days when her old man was incharge of Richmond. There was also a Essendon board member several years ago that was a friend of hers and was found to be leaking to her, the club sacked her and Wilson has never forgiven us. There was also the fact we sacked her friend Knights as coach which is the reason she hated Hird even before the latest dramas

I'm pretty certain, for example, Sam Lienert isn't scum, or a shit bloke.

Even if they are right idiots it is mick's job to be the public face of the club after a loss, and for him to act like he does is embarrassing for both him and the club.

Don't forget it is their job to ask tough questions. If they spent all their time mollycoddling mick jim and others would be the first to say why weren't the tough questions asked

Differance between tough questions and stupid irrelevant ones Benny. How hard is it for some to do a little bit of research or atleast have some questions written down?

Stupid or not, irrelevant or not...........stand there and answer the question.
Don't walk away like a 2 year old muttering under your breathe.
Win, lose or draw....Mick is still a wanker(have I mentioned that before!! ;)

I actually couldn't stand her prior to the Essendon saga......but now have some respect for her as she stood up for herself and has on most occassions proven to be correct.

How do you know they don't? Been to any after-match press conferences? Rare, in my experience, that journos aren't prepared.

I'm not a Wilson fan, by any means.
But, I'd reckon if the main man of the organisation on which you are reporting is leaking things to you, you're doing a pretty damn good job.

I personally prefer Caro, to others such as Hutchy, Mark Stevens, and Damian Barrett.

Barret, Ralph and Stevens are the worst 3 by the length of the straight. They always sensationlise anything that may be looked at by the MRP and they feel its their duty to get these players the maximum penalty possible including locking the players up and throwing away the key. Harley isnt far off these guys either

Mick be the bigger person and move on.
Do what's best for the club first and secondly your reputation........or what little you have left of it!!
Give the club time to find someone to replace you before preseason starts again.

Would doubt any coach could do much better with this lot.
They have been playing a lot better over the last month but have just ran out of cattle.
I did love the presser last night though, love the way Mick treats that wanker Stevens with total disdain
