Weird. No, they're not the best players in the comp but if they really think these guys aren't in their best 44 players (list wise) then why pick them?

Didnt realise he was 29, thought he was a few years younger than that.

Is staying on now.
Hird has convinced him to go around again next year. Will play a role similar to Gia this year and be used mainly as a sub

yeah would have thought someone with his experience would have been highly sought after.

Richmond would certainly be the place to go out of those three, though brisbane look like they are going alright, just further behind in their development

I'd rather be Brisbane than Richmond right now. Some real list cloggers in that Tiger line up, good enough to keep them mired in mid table mediocrity for a while while the young Brisbane team goes straight by them. Particularly if they land Ryder.

Yeah I agree REB. Richmond's barnstorming finish was great and all but then smashed first week of the finals to remind us again how they were travelling up to round 13. They are definitely stuck in that mid table no man's land of 7th to 10th. Just where the Crows are too.

Brisbane look to have more promise in their squad and I'd also have them overtaking Richmond pretty soon.
In between signatures .....

Funny how people forget brisbanes start to the year and questioning if they would win a game. Rather richmonds list every day of the week at the moment.

Northern Blues, any mention of the name Preston or Bullants and the Carlton Name Police will severely beat you to a Pulp and then inflict a fatal beating!!!

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Hard to believe isnt' it? No Luey, Rich, Staker, McGrath and a few other senior players as well and they couldn't even beat Geelong and Hawthorn. While Kenny boy won tattslotto everything went pear shaped for Leppa in a big way. I'd have Richmond ahead of Brisbane next season but come on, giving Newman another year? Chaplin a key defender? Giving games to spuds like Petterd, Grigg and Houli? These guys will keeep you 7-10 and the year after the Lions will overtake you.

Don't get me started on Chaplin REB!! Hated the way that bloke has played since day one at port! I was in years when we picked him up. Houli and grigg have been pretty good for us though. I hope we go young in the rookie draft this year instead of mature ages players. Need to try and unleash a rookie sensation.
