Like your team days. Don't think danger has earned a spot yet.

I probably like this team the best. Can't think of too many that should be in there. Maybe kade Simpson on a back flank? Probably between him and smith. Not 100% sure about ebert either, maybe heppell on the field ahead of him.

I think the forward like is correct.

Funnily you say that Benny- Smith v Simpson and Ebert v Heppell were the two I was toying with. In the end I went with Smith on the basis of damage. Simpson racks up the touches but apart from a solid fantasy score, most opposition coaches wouldnt say he hurts them in the same mould smith does. I love the way smith plays, exactly what you want from your HB- breaks the lines, long racking kick and can hit the scoreboard too. Keeps that form up and he and Talia should have no problems securing an AA spot by seasons end.

Ebert and Heppell is an interesting debate. I opted for Ebo not out of Bias, but purely ladder position. Ebert has had a quiet few weeks, but when port were really staking a claim from the showdown through to the bye, I would have had Ebert leading our B&F at that point. A quiet few weeks has certainly subdued what has been an outstanding start to the year for him. Heppell is a fantastic talent, and it wouldnt surprise me one bit to see him right in contention for the real thing late this season.

And I agree with you re. Gray- however, Booney made an interesting point concerning the way in which B&F votes are calculated at port- with a focus on role performance playing a big factor- hence his call on Carlisle being in the top 3. We will only know at seasons end but Gray or Ebert are certainly the standouts for mine- with Boak definitely on the cusp after a quiet start to the season.

I would think Ben Cunnington would be a chance if the side was picked now.

Would be leading the roos B&F by a street at the moment- but where would you fit him in the AA team? Wing?

Certainly Kennedy, Beams, Ablett and Pendlebury replace him for on field mid spots. Maybe a spot on the interchange?

If he is in the best 22 players then they would fit him in. Perhaps replace Gray in a Forward Pocket?

No way PG- Gray is in the top 5 for votes in the AFLCA award- has had an outstanding start to the year and, counting on the fact he continues this vein of form, will be a monty for the AA side at the end of the year.

Gray would almost be the first picked. Not saying he is a brownlow chance but he along with breust have the small forward roles locked up easily

From the Crows, I wouldnt have Dangerfield in the squad, I dont think he has perfromed well enough, esspecially compared to what he can. I think Talia and Brodie Smith have done enough 'so far', I think Valleys side is on the right track. But as has been said, still far to early to make a call on alot of players, maybe only GAJ haha
