Hardly any Crows fans at the game - can only assume Wedgie and his mates have scared them off for the season. But then I would no more travel all over Adelaide to see Sturt Reserves play unless I had a direct connection to the club or a player.

Due to the lack of Crows noise they got ignored by the umps. Just 3 frees paid to the Crows up to 3/4 time. No crowd noise screaming for "Holding the ball" or "Holding the man" etc means that many Crows frees that were there were simply waved as play on by the umps.

Due to the youth of many of the Crows players they were consistently out muscled or out marked in many one on one contests against Sturt today. Yes they won the last quarter but by then the atmosphere of the game resembled a club internal trial between Blue and White with a smattering of polite applause whenever White kicked a goal.

Can't see Crows Reserves finishing in the top 8.

So how many people were there. We were promised a financial bonanza of an 4,000 Adelaide fans at their games . How many turned up today?

Don't know official crowd but I'm guessing 3500 at Unley today. I will be generous and give the Crows 300 at most.

There was silence on the radio each time they kicked a goal. Pathetic

Glad we smashed em. Would have hated being the first to lose to em.

Really enjoyed the way we got back into it in the first qtr. Hansen really stepping up this year.

Back to the game, Sturt must be ecstatic with their start to the season, can't do any more than they have.

Well they have a mathematical chance of making the finals so anything is possible.

So it's like going to a Crows or Port game in Adelaide then, but in reverse.

I was busy until three quarter time yesterday but had the good fortune of being able to see the final quarter with my son yesterday.
On the radio there was complete silence when the Crows kicked a goal. It was eerie. I stood in the family area, and on a side note I'm proud to say that my 3 year old completely ignored the playground and was absorbed in watching his first game of football, but there were Crows supporters about, I
reckon there were 5 or 6 displaying their colours that I saw. The first time I have stood amongst a crowd watching footy, so dominated by Sturt folk. I think it must've been about 96 percent Sturt fans, easily.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

It would be a joke if Callinan didn't play against us.

I wouldn't expect anything less from a bunch of fake supporters supporting a fake team. Well done on the win Sturt.

As compared to a fake SANFL club that's been pimped off to the AFL being portrayed as the Magpies, it's like a footy version of 'A Weekend at Bernie's'.
Talk about fake and gullible supporters!
For the record my 'like' of your post was accidental in trying to hit the quote tab.

In Adelaide's case is it not a matter of teams taking their foot off the gas with the game already won?
