I lost interest when I saw Rucci's name in there. I refuse to read anything with his name attached to it.

I see it's in the "premium" section, with a picture of a bloke who no longer plays for Port and some Neville Nobody in a Crows kit.

You Sir, need to READ...
Read the comments regarding "... not the same" & the like.

Last year 2015 - I went to a number of 'neutral' games, including Finals.
I did not go to the Grand Final.

Resorting to abuse?
That is the 'pro' way, isn't it?

Yes I am aware of what Port did . I am not sure what this "pro-way" stuff is about towards me.
Didn't abandon your club ? lol

I read Rucci's article last night without a subscription. You're not missing much, very little substance. The poll was 50/50 on whether or not their inclusion has been a positive.

When referring to a Rucci article the words very little substance would probably be the beginning of his autobiography.

Can't increase the substandard licence fee of $400000 for the afl clubs to join the sanfl.

The same day AFC announce a plus million dollar profit.

Bang up job SANFL.

It's actually laughable how pathetically predictable this all is

Also in that the AFC paid a 700k equalization tax as well and som 700k transport levi and still made 1.49 mil. So they are going pretty good by the looks of it.

But they did make a payment of 1.1mil to the sanfl, assuming the 400k was in that, any idea what the rest of it was or what is being used for?

the afl licences were to be paid off over some odd years (no idea how long) so there will also be a corresponding payment from the power to the sanfl also (presumably a smaller amount as their licence was sold for less, partially as they were valued less, and partially as the crows fee included monies to maintain footy park as their training base).

no idea how the amounts are broken up though. could be part licence fee and partially sanfl entry fee (or whatever it is called), although i would have thought they wouldnt be reconciled together. the entry fee is being paid to the clubs isnt it? or is it being given to the sanfl to be then distributed by them?

...that'd be interesting reading. I'll wait until it's in the $2 box at Cheap as Chips. It'd start off with, " I have such a maligned view of everything because I was bullied at school. Everybody hated me. Strangely enough, it seems that way now, also."

Don't forget the counter of your local 24 hour service station, which is where most copies of "Jarman Magic" were being sold.

The Rucci autobiography would sound like a musical birthday card, as you turn every page it lets out a nonsensical whine.
