Just about every game at Alberton has always had a side that hits players off the ball. Just for a change it may not have been Port.

Ultimately three reports says it all really. And if he feels players have been targetted Hocking has every right to say something to the amateurs in the other box.

(Johansen got cleaned up half way through third)

I was talking about the Clinch report that started Hockings tantrum.
Other two reports were during quarters too.
Funny how all these people who weren't there know what happens better than those who were there.
No sherberts for me mate, even had a giggle with the oldest of Ports assistant coaches in the box who also thought it was funny.
I was just there with my son enjoying all the chaos, didn't have anything to do with any of it, feel free to even ask any of the Port coaching staff who I sat in front of including Buddha hims lf, I stood out too with my moonboot too. :)

The kerfuffle was over an incident when the ball was actually under the Port player, not off it.
Should get Clinch 1-2 weeks if history is any guide.

3 high tackles, one with a hip and shoulder, one with a careless clothesline and the other I couldn't give a 100% call on as it was the outer wing which was in darkness, but it looked like just a careless high tackle.
Clinch's is the only won that will probably get games probably.
Careless hip and shoulder in front of the old grandstand.

Definitely nothing to make a scene or special mention at if you saw them.

I did not mean to imply that he was hit off the ball.

just finding some of the comments regarding the reports to be ironic.

Port twitter feed definitely has Newtons as occuring in 3/4 time break at 7:59 pm. At 8:01 first goal of quarter mentioned as being 4 mins in. If it wasnt in break its within a minute.
Again though... unless the umpires have gone super soft three reports suggests something.

Edit: video footage shows newton hit to be in play.

Maybe Hocking was doing the tweeted and was a bit flustered after calling the Wahmbulance. I was there mate, it was not at a break, it wasnt even close yo one. Hocking was back in his box at least 5 mins after telling everyone to look at the scoreboard.
Nothing happened at 3/4 time. Your clubs tweets are either liars or incompetent.

The 3 reports were all during play. Perhaps go to a game instead of relying on belated tweets.

If it was 3/4 time why would both coaches be in there boxes and Hocking go back into his box? Its not rocket science.

4 mins in means play resumed at 7:57?

The third report was for a head high hit after a marking contest.

A Port supporter hey Wedgie? Well there's certainly a viable test sample.

Word is Ben Newton was cleaned up behind play before the quarter had even started.

I'll back Hocking for standing up for his players

LMAO, it was half way through the quarter at a stoppage in the middle of the play!
You'll believe any crap fed to you won't you?

Why weren't you there Been? Surely if its a game important enough for your coach to tell supporters to look at the scoreboard its important enough for the No 1 sheep to attend?

I have bigger fish to fry tomorrow to worry about some meaningless Friday night trial game played in semi-darkness.

And you're right Wedgie, for a minute I almost believed you found a Port supporter embarrassed by Hocking standing by his players.
