not that he is money hungry, but I think Bomber would need more than that to go up there.....

and if Bomber does go up north, he would need atleast a 5 year contract

Yes, they have offered approx $1.4m a year to get him up there and reportedly as a sweetner the AFL will waive his existing fine aswell

If that fine gets waived then it'll be a disgrace.

The AFL will do anything to look after their pet projects. I find it hilarious that Bomber and Goody were implicated in the drug scandal and were up to their eyeballs in it yet Goody finds himself funded by the AFL at Melbourne and the AFL are willing to fund a payout of McKenna and bring in Bomber

look at what the AFL did for Gazza to get him up there $$$$$$$$

Up to their eyeballs in it?? I heard them say on SEN that Bomber wasn't in favour of it and actually raised the issue that he thought it was getting out of hand??

Let's hope he does go up there. At least then we'll get Gazz back to finish his career at Geelong. Please go there Bomber.

Bomber and Goody knew exactly what was going on and despite having some reservations about parts of the program they didnt force the issue and still stayed on at the club. Both could of gone to the AFL or quit the club if they felt that badly about it

There are things go on at my work too I don't agree with but so long as I'm not the boss I'm not going to jeopardise my employment over it. Raise it with the boss, if he's comfortable I just do my job. CEO (coach) always wears the fallout....

Can't agree with that WCP. Depends on the seriousness of the issue, your conscience and moral beliefs. Plenty of examples of whistleblowers in big companies that could have remained silent, but their actions have had marked impacts on society eg smoking, car safety, environmental issues, Enron.
This issue is almost as big as that - it's not like the coach endorsing the players having a big night out or a training program assistant coaches disagreed with.

Picked the wrong year not to go to the B&F. Flogged my tickets off a couple of weeks ago as unable to attend due to work. Looks like being a spicy night. Hird told not to attend by the board, cant wait to hear Little's speech

So Essendon have accepted the federal court decision and will move on.

So how far away are the revised dates for the show cause notices?

October 10th is last official day an appeal can be lodged, think they have to wait until then.

ASADA said they would wait until the appeal period finishes before handing out the new notices.
