Sydney Swans 2014

Talk on the national game

i was filthy after our performance on the weekend... Got booted from a swans fan page for saying the swans were junk. Bit precious that lot...

What annoyed me the most was our innability to maintain any sort of pressure. I may get shot down for this but i actually thought Buddy did alot better this week... Worked hard up the ground. Would have been very frustrating on the weekend being a forward!!!

AND TO WHOM EVER MAKES THE DECISION TO PLAY OUR HOME GAMES AT ANZ SHOULD GET RIGHT OFF!!! RUBBISH CROWD, RUBBISH SURVICE AND OUR RUBBISH RECORD!!! FANS HATE IT, PLAYERS HATE IT!!!!

Massive game this week... And on a positive note, Hanna's was awesome adn the last time we started 0-2 we made a GF....

Buddy has a premiership hangover like he did in 09, happy we worked out it was just him bringing the whole team down that year ;)

McVeigh would be the player that is the heart for the club now but the other players aren't taking his lead at the moment. They looked like a top side against the Crows but haven't looked too flash in their other games.

The Swans aren't playing their best footy but they are a few weeks away from welcoming back Goodes and Tippett. It'll be interesting to see how Tippett and Franklin go in the forward 6, my thoughts are Tippett to stay deep in the 50 and Franklin to play a high CHF position. Throw in Goodes to that midfield/forward 50 and they will become a pretty potent side again.

There's too much talent for this team to just drift away and not make the finals. If they get their sh!t together they will easily play finals this season.

Won't make the 8, they have won 3 of their last 11.
Need to win 10 or 11 from 18 just to make the 8,
Top 4 definitely shot.
I really feel for them ;)

really pleased with the win on saturday.... Great to see some players find some form, rampe, jetta, LRT and i didn't think he was doing to badly but Lance's second half was great. Kennedy was outstanding, back to his best. 102 tackles on the day is an excellent team effort. Great pressure footy. We must maintain it going forward. Easily our best performance this year.

Personally I thought your other win was better ;)

From the afl web site

"The driver of the Jeep was a 27-year-old Bondi man and he was not injured in the crash.

"He underwent a roadside breath test that was negative.

Nah just having a bit of fun, been copping a bit of "karma bus" comments on the crows thread. I
Couldn't care less anymore that he's at Sydney. It's professional sport in the year 2014.

He also returned a negative blood alcohol reading as well. Probably another reason for side swiping 4 or 5 parked cars.

Just on Sydney, with Goodes to come back and young Mitchell probably back as well. I think they will start to improve now. Goodes as I said before will probably play as a midfielder or that sweeper role. Franklin is starting to find some form and when Tippett is back things will get interesting. I think they have some concerns in the ruck at the moment by they can cover for this.

He must just be a seriously $hit driver. Wasnt drunk, wasnt speeding and wasnt using his phone at the time but in perfect conditions he took out 4 cars.
How many times has he lost his license in the past?
Sydney would be wise to enlist a driver for him or stock up on cab vouchers
