We got out of jail last night

We haven't been traveling that well all season but the positive is there is a lot of room for improvement which needs to start soon to not only make the 8 but have an impact

Kick it high to Tom isn't going to make an impact in the finals. IMO, Scott has no idea.

Yep. We miss him and Caddy. Not enough intensity being shown around the contest.

I normally can't stand the Fox Footy panel apart from Sandy and McLure but I thought their point about Geelong on Friday night was valid. It will be interesting to see how Scott coaches from here as he has been on auto pilot from the very start of his tenure.

I think his brother @ North is under achieving dramatically and @ times sounds like a clown after matches and Norths inconsistency with such a talented list shouldn't be tolerated.

Scott will always be judged by how he manages the rebuild. His approach at the start was very wise, don't try and fix what isn't broken. Now he has to prove that he can be a teaching coach. His continual 'we won't look back at that' comment after losses is worrying. If you don't learn from your mistakes you are doomed to repeat them as is being shown in our matches with Fremantle.

We still have some good cattle but when Kelly continues to provide opposition goals and Johnson continues to pick and choose when to go then both should be given spells in the Magoos. The gameplan needs some slight modification because we no longer have the biggest bodies in the engine room. When we did the 'Geelong Highway' for want of a better term remained a viable option.

Right now we have Caddy and Christensen out of action so that leaves it to Kelly and Selwood to do the grunt work that used to be done by about five blokes. Guthrie and Stokes have stepped up but the Johnson midfield experiment is not working and we are struggling to kick goals. Motlop has helped inject some zip but Varcoe, while he provides the said zip does not provide any intensity at the contest.

The intensity at the contest should be NON NEGIOTABLE, especially when we are attempting to play down the corridor. We were nearly beaten by a team of sheep dogs who specialise in Bruise free football and we allowed that by being bruise free ourselves. My faith in Scott was severely shaken when we came out flat as dog shit after being embarrassingly humiliated by the Swans. We had no 'short break' or 'on the road again' excuses this time, we were just plain shit.

If it wasnt' for George Horlin Smith, Tommy Hawkins, Matty Stokes, Cameron Guthrie and the Maggots, we would have been rolled and Carlton are horseshit. Unfortunately for us, we aren't that much better......at the moment. Over to you Scotty.

We'll get drilled by Essendon tonight. Too much pace for us. Never thought I'd say that.

I know I'd prefer this game at the MCG out in the elements as opposed to indoors at Etihad.

Which team will lift to show the Chapman move was the right one?

That decision will neither be proved or disproved by the result of tonight's game.

There's no doubt the channel 7 will make a big deal of it tonight while broadcasting the game.

Travis varcoe plays with very long fingernails. Wouldn't get picked even ten years ago if not for the rules now favouring his type, squib

I haven't been a fan since 2011 but at least Trav laid a couple of tackles tonight and did his part in the match winning play. Needs to do a lot more for sure.
