It took me until match 5 to realise it wasn't the Foxtel Cup.

You can see the "blood" draining from the brothers already.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

It's like we don't even bother with preseason games... I can't recall a time when we actually had an impressive preseason!!

Good to see Rohan get his hand on the ball a bit... Kid can play. Not fussed that Buddy only having 7 possie's, be better for the run. Awesome to see LRT back... Can't wait for the real stuff.

Um I disagree. He can play and will find a way. Tippett and Goodes will take the pressure off him. I think the salary cap bludgers would be quietly optimistic for 2014 and I'm not a betting man but they are a lock for the top 4.

Having said that I watched 10 minutes of the first half last night and the game reeked of sucktitude that much that I changed the channel.

Looking forward to the real stuff.

Hasnt the SCG been made larger in the offseason?
Thought I read they added 10-15m at either end

I can see Franklin playing through the mid field a bit. Even being the link up man across half back. His pace and long kicking make him far more versatile (even on the SCG) than Tippett, who is a forward and a forward only.

I don't think Goodes will play much footy until after the Bye.

Yeah he was great. Very humble and very helpful. Had a very relaxed demeanour and the other AFL 9s super stars seemed to looked up to him and be genuinely happy to work with him. It would be hard not to like him. Of all of them though including my beloved Port lads I found the most likeable to be Daisy Thomas. Funny guy and great with the kids.

Works strict social media policy prevents me from writing anything negative about any of the AFL players we employed but out of the 12-15 big names the one that I lets say didn't fall into the Goodesy/Daisy bracket was Jack Riewoldt. Having said that he was not bad and did all things asked and required but probably not with the same enthusiasm and manner as the aforementioned champions.
