Well firstly Dutch- congratulations mate!

I can't believe your mrs even put bathers on! I wouldnt mention any sign of weight gain, but I dont need to anyway- my wife feels its her need to remind me 50 times an hour that she feels fat- and cant wait until there is a baby bump so it's justified. I can't wait to remind her of that comment in 20 weeks time

:axe:

Cheers mate.

I said and quote 'wow your huge already' as you can imagine it went down like a lead ballon!

She just started talking to me again until I turned her tennis off to watch the end of the cricket back to silence

Just had our 20 week scan.

Found out (barring of course an incorrect observation) that my wife and I are expecting a little boy.

HVFC's latest father son recruit and I can't wait :D

WUB, Dutch- how are your partners going?

I can give an update on Mrs Carey - unfortunately she's not having a very good pregnancy this time around and was in hospital on the weekend.

Assuming everything is ok (no news is good news) but for that poor woman to be in so much pain can only mean she's having a boy - a Holland boy no less ;)

My missus is having another pretty normal pregnancy, only felt a little sick in the first 12 weeks, very similar to our first one. Just the usual heartburn. we are 18 weeks, so really looking forward to the 20 week scan, not finding out the sex. Just like the first time, but i'm pretty much resigning the fact that we'll be having another girl  (which i obviously don't care about, but it would be cool to have a little boy) also bout this time you start feeling it kick... which is always exciting.
Not so exciting when it kicks you during mummy daddy special time

congrats on having a boy mate. How's your missus going?

Now that you are both on or around the half way point it is imperative that at no point do you MENTION THAT FACT!!!

My God, do you have any idea how uncomfortable this is? I can't sleep properly! I can't go 5 minutes without going to the toilet! ( See tip 1 ;) )

You've got no idea what I'm going through and then, and then....you bastard, you go and remind me I'm only half way.

I'm sorry, I love you baby.

Yeah weeks 6-12 were pretty intense as far as sickness is concerned. She was admitted to hospital with a gastric virus around week 16 but since then she has been getting her energy back and no sickness.

She has felt it move once, and is really starting to pop out now.

Good news concerning your mrs mate- sounds like everything is going as planned!
