Yes, change is inevitable in footy, as with so much in life. Same goes with how the masses greet it. As for right and wrong, well yes, that's a matter of opinion.

For SANFL post 2013, we can only wait and see how quickly the foul taste of the sly, crass way it all came about goes away. If ever. In the main, I suspect it might take more than a few handfuls of crown mints.

The Foxtel Cup fixture was know weeks ago, ME...

The delay would be trying to satisfy each clubs request and populating into the system...

But it is always the reason that has been given for the delay.

Not necessarily, that was mainly last year and the year before. This season would have been due to the fact that there is a whole new element to the draw with an extra side in the comp. Anyway, doesn't matter now, it's out.

Give it up Phil. For Christ sake there are only 10 teams to programme. Thank god they don't have to programme the English league with 92 clubs. We'd still be waiting until Christmas

I would suspect the delay is do to finalising the TV games for Port and Adelaide

Speaking of TV and fixtures here's my stab at the TV games round by round

Rnd 1 Norwood v Port
Rnd 2 Central v Norwood 12.10 kick off
Rnd 3 South v Glenelg The first of many Friday Night Football televised games
Rnd 4 Norwood v North Anzac Day treat
Rnd 5 Adelaide v Port of course who could miss this
Rnd 6 West v Adelaide
Rnd 7 Norwood v Adelaide
Rnd 8 South v Adelaide
Rnd 9 Eagles v Adelaide
Rnd 10 Central v Adelaide
Rnd 11 West v Port
Rnd 12 Sturt v Port and West v Adelaide
Rnd 13 Port v North my fav fixture
Rnd 14 Port v Adelaide for the 2nd week running the cameras are at Alberton
Rnd 15 North v Norwood for the second time and a dress rehearsal for the GF
Rnd 16 Glenelg v Adelaide
Rnd 17 Sturt v Adelaide
Rnd 18 Norwood v Adelaide finishes off the minor rounds

Adelaide 11 televised games including 2 ressie showdowns
Port get 6 including 2 ressie showdowns
Norwood also get 6 games as their reward for their backflip
Central 2
South 2
Glenelg 2
Sturt 2
Eagles 1
North get 3 as they played Norwood in last years GF
West get 3 as a reward for their attractive, attacking style of football

!00% agree. I will never be a GFC member again because of the utter disrespect the GFC has for its members.

So the Crows reserves get to play in 3 night games while South only have the 2 home night games and a twilight game after investing in lights only a few years back.

This whole situation is an absolute joke!!!!!!!!!

Is the Anzac Day , North V Norwood Clash venue still TBC ? You would expect 10K if it was at Adelaide Oval.

Round 2 Norwood v Centrals starts at 12.10pm for TV purposes.

It probably hasn't been confirmed, as yet...

I would contact the SANFL direct, explain your situation and see what they can tell you...

I'd never travel all the way from the UK to watch an SANFL game unless it was a GF, but I'm a bandwagonner ;)

Johntheclaret, you must either drink a lot of Red Wine, or are a Burnley supporter.

You don't need to book seats for a SANFL ANZAC day game, just pay at the gate and walk in.

If the Game is at Norwood you do have to book seats or you end up standing, correction if you sit in the western stand you have to book seats.
