Probably can't blame him ... wouldn't have been on big dollars you'd think so he's done enough hard yards to walk away with a significant enough contribution with a more lucrative career now ahead of him.

That would suggest his "resignation" might have been more of a push.

I know a few that view him as a spruiker with little substance to back it up. Has been responsible for a few major errors in his time. Chickens may have finally come home to roost.

I used to be a big fan, but not anymore.

Told me to my face he didn't want members asking a lot of questions at AGMs, I think it was the 2009 one...

Plus he has to take some responsibility for the massive increase in debt under his reign...

Tired. His first tour was his best...

How many of "these guys" voted yes and have now resigned? Is it three of the six?

Zero.
It is the presidents who vote.
Presidents are the leaders of the board. CEOs are merely employees.

Chris Grant would be the most longstanding CEO by a mile now.
North & Norwood might be the only other two longer than 2 years.
South changed last year.
Port, Glenelg, West, Eagles and now Sturt this year.

One of my sources said the club had an emergency board meeting to sack him... so something is up if that is true...
