Seen it numerous times. Normally takes a pretty dramatic comment for it to happen. How many supporters seriously are witted enough to make comments to benefit their own team....

If the umpire in question wasnt too busy telling everyone where he was going to back out of the throw up every time he threw it up it would of been great.
The umpire took about 30 seconds everytime to throw it up. Pointing out behind him every time for 15 seconds where he was going.
This bloke has watched far too much AFL, and to pay a free kick 15 meters out from goal agaisnt a bloke who didnt have any club clothes on or anything was a pisser.
Must be a very smart umpie to know what club the spectattor was from, if any.

And on another side note, how many opposition clubs form a line and sing there club song on the ground after a win in front of the home sides clubrooms?
I understand in finals yes, but home and away games?
I was always taught to respect the opposition as that stuff comes back and bites you in the arse.

Only takes one.
Like I said I've actually seen it in a GF.
Game was decided by 2 points.
Umpires actually started giving dodgy free kicks in the third quarter and this supporters team got up.
To pay free kicks or give penalties against for spectator behaviour is ludicrous.
Coaching staff, no worries.

Ingle Farm sing the song on the ground, not to rub in to the opposition or try and be disrespectful, but so the valued and loyal supporters can enjoy our win as well with us if that makes sense.

I can remember the same thing being raised last year when Lockleys sang theirs at a away ground, IIRC a lot did sing on the oval, a lot of clubs waited to they were in the changerooms

Don't see the difference - sing it inside and out, the opposition is still going to hear it. Often it's sung in the middle of the oval, by which time the defeated side has wandered off anyway.

Our Bgrade sing it on the ground and in the change rooms. After not winning a game last season we try and make up for it.
Guess its a bit like warming up at the wrong end Informer?

I'd rather a side sing it on the oval while i walk off and cant hear as much instead of listening to them belt it out in the rooms within an earshot where i have no choice but to listen :(

Personal preference is to always sing the song in the changerooms. Would never dream of doing it on a oppositions oval.

Your home ground, I've never been offended or perturbed if clubs have sung it on the ground.

Do it at Mitchell Park Oval and you'll go down a notch or two in my book.

Just a respect thing IMO.

After the weekends results suddenly the comp is once again heating up! A number of rounds ago all the talk was Rosewater & West Croydon.. then came Ingle Farm and it looked like a gap between those 3 and the rest.

Suddenly a serious premiership contender who has quietly gone about their business is in the forefront and that is BOS.

Throw in the carey inspired Central United revival, Lockleys looking dangerous and coming close to snagging an away win against West Croydon and the ladder is beginning to look more congested for the first time this season.

3 sides on 12 points only one game behind Ingle Farm on top spot, Central United and Fitzroy only a game outside the 5 and two games off the pace of the top sides.

What about inside and outside. Just so we could hear it twice.

I have never sang the song on the oval unless it was a GF....
