Watching Footy Classified for the first time in years.
It appears that Hutchy is even more of a wanker now then he has in the past.....

It was Ok with Lyon there, now its a footy show with 3 of the 4 panelists being journalists which makes it just a "maybe this, maybe that" show. Get rid of one of them and get an ex footy player in there, balance is all wrong.

Lucky enough to sit on the set one night 3 years ago.
IMO it's by far & away the best footy show we've had.

yeah agreed, especially now we dont have to listen to brendan goddard.

Its funny how you change your opinion of some people when they speak. Reckon Jack Riewoldt is much better to listen to than i expected. Jordan Lewis is ok. Goddard was terrible, as is Buckley

Not great characters, a little bit wooden, but very good talking about the footy.

Yeah, Hutchy has to go. I don't mind Caro, whether you agree with her or not, what she says and reports at least deserves listening to, unlike so many others who because they are male and because they are Victorian think they know everything about footy and are full of themselves without ever having played at a high level. Right from the start Caro said the Essendon thing would end up like it did.

I remember that AFL 360 show with that idiot Robbo who seemed like he was drunk all the time and would struggle to string a sentence together. How they could put him on air I'll never know but you get all the magoos on Fox even watching Fox games on TV like the Crows/Swans game other than Huddo they're all nuffys Dermie, David King, Tony Shaw, Barry Hall even Ricciuto is hard to listen to.

Talking Footy is alright but I still can't handle Carey I only pay attention to Darcy & Watson, The Footy Show should've been pulled 20 years ago and the only one I often watched was Footy Classified. That was pretty good with Gary Lyon but it's a bit hard to watch now. Too many stiffs and too much Hutchy. Always liked Caro though runs rings around most of them and the by-play between her and Lyon was good.

I haven't watched Footy SA for a couple of weeks but I like watching that too Hutchy is more 'business-like' than his shit-stirring stuff on FC.

I reckon having more than 1 "media" person is a recipe for disaster. They can bring something interesting, but the best opinions are always those who are ex footballers. I think less because they are more expert (listen to an ex player for more than 10 minutes and you get the feeling they forget the game has changed) but because they just simply care about the game and are comfortable with their own positions in the game. I find that far more interesting than anything about boardroom squabbles or contracts or free agent rumours.

Have to say kingy is getting better. I'm sure someone does it for him, but the video analysis stuff he does is first class.

He also predicted freo would miss the eight and was laughed at pre season
