bought a callaway jaws 60 degree wedge saturday, from drummond. half price at $65.

a bit of golf wankery for my skill level, but it still felt nice the single time i hit it to within 4 ft from 60 away

missed the putt too just incase you were wondering

saw on revolutiongolf - the tour striker app

but its only available on I=phone and not likely to be on android

possibly should be in another thread also, but seriously why would anyone release an app and not have it on android, when android is the way of the future and the way to reach the masses

more people spend money on ios for apps than they do on andriod.

to say that it is the "way of the future" is just like saying macos is the way of the future.

development is also easier on ios because it is a single platform/phone combo

golfshot is on both ios and android and is great.

But everyone in North America is raving about this app- http://foursum.com/
Its not availble in Aus yet. I'm assuming its like Strava?

Got the clubs back home and I am looking forward to taking them on their maiden voyage on Saturday. Won't be expecting too much as I haven't played for almost 8 weeks.

does anyone know the best way to change a grip on a golf club?

i bought one of those fat grips for my putter. of course it is my actual skill with the putter that causes issues, but hell, ill try and blame it on something else.

anyway, it seems like there might be a bit of glue etc under the grip. i dont really want to cut the grip off just in case i dont like the new one.

is there a trick to it?

just looked at a few youtube vids, damn, it is a fair bit more involved than than i first thought. perhaps naively i thought it would be similar to re-gripping a cricket bat

I got my last set re-gripped at House of Golf at Mile End

I put on the reverse grip, so it was thicker down the bottom
