Craiglea Jabiru

rocky race 1 - 3 @ $15 in paper

coming off a slashing 9th

A field of 7 with 6 Craiglea runners and one is $1.50.


It was a race like this that I noticed the Jabiru on xmas eve.
it was the unplaced $1.40 fav in an identical field.

Difference here is there is no A Coome in this race today

Na. I was still at work thank god. Not sure if MT resisted.

Did back this thing yesterday ($2 on the nose, $3 on the place *big spender*) at Pakenham (race 3) One Hot Dane. Was paying $200/1 and $30/1 fixed.

I read in the form guide it hadn't been sighted anywhere, could mean it's a Jabiru, or a hidden talent. So I jumped on.

Lead the whole race but got smashed in the last 100m by the favourite. Heart was pounding until the fave stormed on the scene but exciting nonetheless. Never backed a winner at 200/1. Have jagged the 100/1 shot a handful of times (Rebel Raider the best of those)
