No idea.

Anyone got a list of all the announcements of u/18 coaches so far? I've heard dribs and drabs but would like to see a single list.

Thats interesting, i hadn't heard that, the last i remember was he was taking a year off to follow his son's AFL career, presumably he's had the desire back to get into it again.

This is what I know so far, officially and unofficially...

Centrals - Not decided as yet and I have no mail at this stage on the applicants, possibly long serving 19's coach Jeff Brown ?

Glenelg - Ian Cox officially appointed. He was also a former Under 17's coach at Brighton road, good reputation.

Sturt - Not sure of any official announcement but it could be well respected Under 17's Premiership coach Chris Brown ?

Norwood - Nothing official on there web site or forum, only Trevor Potts mentioned at the start of this thread ?

Port Magpies - Tony Bamford officially appointed. Was Under 17's coach in 08 and has a good development role record in recent years.

Eagles - Nothing official announced that I've heard, so it could be either the 17's coach Terry Hutton or 19's coach Anthony Lamond from season 2008 ?

North - Greg Edwards offically announced. Greg has a great record and is a former Under 17's Premiership coach for the Roosters.

South - Robbie Neill officially announced and is a good appointment. Was as assistant at North in 08 and has done a lot of development work in his roles with the SANFL

West - Greg Mellor has been officially announced by The Bloods. The former club legend seems to be a good choice for the position.

I guess this list can be updated when the other few clubs make announcements or when someone else hears something...

Cheers,

BP

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

If any media outlet wants to pay me between $55 - $60K, give me a laptop, phone and company car to work for them (without any journalistic background) then I would be the happiest man in the world. Not gonna happen G so I guess I will stick to my volunteering duties :D

Big Phil, no chance of a job in the media like that.

You are way over qualified in that you know how to do research and you know how to get information correct.
