JACK BACK, TIMMY OUT?

Postby CENTURION » Fri May 30, 2008 9:03 am

The way things are travelling at Alberton at the moment, could this be on the cards?

I don't think it would happen, but I do believe Timmy G is skating on thin ice at the moment. Is his contract up at the end of this season???

Matty Knights might be up for a return when he gets the flick from Windy Hill.

FGS, for the want of 5 points we'd be sitting 4th!

We are playing nice footy under Tim, even if the results aren't coming just yet. Gameplan is sound, but execution of skills and kicking for goal are hurting us big time.

If Timmy is to go I would like to see Scotty Hodges take over. At the very least we might improve our goal kicking.

I think Kevin Higgins is the man to bring out the true gifts that lie in Magpie land ATM.
Higgins for Maggy coach!

No worries Fatal...I just thought it was the Port Adelaide mentality to win premierships, not labour outside the 5 for years...

Good Point. It should have been him when Matty Knights left before they even thought of Jack or Tim. I know some of the younger players down there wouldnt mind at all if that happened.

Hodges has been coaching in the Amatuers.

Someone from that forum will let you know where.

I think was Henley or Seaton or Port Districts

Knocked back a lot of coin to take the Salisbury West job. Maybe he has plans to coach the Maggies.

He never looked very adaptable as a player. He was made by being in front of a dominant team, I thought.
How did he go as a coach in the Amateurs?
