I mentioned him yesterday but if you have 5 minutes go to the Cricket Australia app and check out the catalogue of catches from NSW keeper Baxter Holt in this shield game against QLD.

Some absolute rip snorters off both the pacemen and spinners...…….at least 4 real good catches over the two innings.

Sadly I'm not sure he does much with the bat though.

Big drama in the QLD NSW match, needing 8 runs to win and 2 wickets in the shed

Chris Tremain comes back for the second, was out by a foot but given NOT OUT

what a joke there is no 3rd umpire

If we get 300 by stumps would you declare over night.

Given our season is all but over i would definitely be willing to risk a loss to try and get a rare win. Worse case scenario would be the Vic finish tomorrow 8/260 or something similar and we just didn't have enough time.

No guts no glory.

96 overs in a day, bat for a bit tomorrow

Looking unlikely to get anywhere near 300 now....4/146 lead by 248

Won’t have to worry about declaring, likely to get bowled out.

They are going to be chasing about 320 off 90 overs.
Their batting is pretty weak especially if we knock over one of the openers early

Not only for Run Outs but SHOCKING LBW decisions as well

Careys LBW dismissal was utter RUBBISH, Missing leg by a mile.

It's almost these days that if the ball hits in line with the stumps the umpires are firing them out regardless of where the ball is heading.

Umpiring isn't an easy task and LBWs are always debatable but in all honesty the bowler and keeper must have been as shocked as Carey when it was given. Umpires these days seem to have no back ground in geometry and angles, pretty basic that if bowling Right Arm around the wicket to a Left Handerand the ball strikes the pads in front of Leg that the natural angle will carry it on well down leg side.

But we are talking about a side that doesn’t know how to win.

Yeah the Carey one was a shocker, was clipping leg on the next set of stumps.

I imagine the cost prohibits them getting drs though

They can't provide DRS for that ******* stupid BBL due to the expense they certainly not going to provide it for Shield matches.

The same howlers are made and it's shown on TV yet nothing changes.
