Re: Port Adelaide 2017
What will that mean for those who have purchased packages to go to the game, especially those who didn't purchase from the club - could be a lot of lost money..

Could be some very disappointed customers with various airlines, travel agents etc etc. Me, if I had tickets arranged to go ( which I don't ) I wouldn't be going.
China isn't exactly on my bucket list as far as desirable destinations go ( although my Dad and his partner have been twice and they both loved it ) and I never really entertained the thought of going.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
If you want to go far, go together.

North Korea have done this repeatedly over the past few years and nothing has happened. It will be fine imo. Slow news time at the moment, so they are writing about it.
In terms of booking packages etc, travel insurance would probably cover it i would think

Maybe if they got them through PAFC - but if they've arranged their own travel plans, not sure travel insurance would cover it? Would they?
Who decides whether it's safe to travel or not?

Who decides whether it's safe to travel or not?
The Australian Federal Government put "travel warnings" in place through the Smart Traveller ( .gov.au ) site.
At the moment China is listed as "Exercise Normal Safety Precautions", as such nothing to be alarmed about. However, if tensions rise I would think the fact upwards of 7000 people heading over might make the government reconsider that advice.
If it's you and me going, off you go and be careful, but do we want to tell 7000 Aussies it's good to go?

As long as they're Port supporters I don't think they'll care too much

Re: Port Adelaide 2017
This is a multi million $ investment for a number of parties, surely they would have thought of risk insurance is case it does not proceed for any reason? If not who cops the loss? Did KT mention this in the interview?

Think Port are copping a roar deal on this one!!
None of the photos were taken inside the ground, how can Port possibly control every humans actions
If this bloke is not a member is there any action Port can take to stop him wearing the clothing together

Probably bought it from an op shop or stole it off a clothes line.
