if it isn't stupidity as you suggest bulldog it would have to be greed...i think it is a combination of both
i guess so maybe all the drugs went to his head. Good performer but yeah stupid what he did. I rememebr Edge highlighting it in one Smackdown episode with his drug trafficing.

Although I would disagree about the WCW Lite due to the great knockouts, X Division and other wrestlers (AJ, Samoa, Kurt, etc) they have
WCW Lite>>>>>>>Current WWE
On the topic, watched Genesis last night, great to see one of the 2 or 3 wrestlers I like in WWE now TNA, Mr Kennedy did have a better ring than Mr Anderson though! lol

Yes, otherwise good to see him keep the same gimmick.
Wish they'd come up with a new "porn" name for Sean Morley though, just isn't the same without the Val Venus ring name.
Great promo at the start by Hogan.
The passionate crowd was good for the show, with the spontaneous "Sit down Brooke! (Hogan)" chant making me chuckle.
Sounds like the tv producers are trying to "censor" the fans though and get them to behave according to their ideas on how the crowd should be
Desmond Wolfe's valet was hottttt!
I'd like to see him in more matches against Angle.
Another Styles/Angle epic to close the show.

Re: Pro Wrestling Talk
I love TNA, and I'm really hoping that Bischoff has learnt from his mistakes in WCW, but surely bringing the Nasty Boys and an overweight Scott Hall (who is close to my favourite of all time by the way) can't be seen as positive moves? Where have the Nasty Boys been for the past 15 years?
I'd much rather see Eric Young, Jay Lethal, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley etc on every show, every week.

i can tell you that the nasty boys imho stole the show in the recent hulkamania tour of australia (in melbourne), i was under the impression that knobbs had a bad back but obviously it isn't that bad...perhaps semi-retired

Not hard to steal the show with the line-up that show had.

Re: Pro Wrestling Talk
Why has TNA decided to change to a 4 sided ring?
The six sided ring is what makes this company unique to WWE.

Because Hogan didn't like it.

Re: Pro Wrestling Talk
Must admit that decision disappointed me, I liked the 6 sided ring!
Oh well, if that's the only thing they do that disappoints me with all the exciting stuff going on it can't be bad.
Wish we got the 3 hour version here though, missing so much.

Re: Pro Wrestling Talk
watched the 1996 royal rumble the other night with little bayman & it was interesting seeing 'isaac yankem' & 'the ringmaster' in action before they changed their personas, also there was triple h wrestling as the snobby/aristocratic 'hunter hearst helmsley', also bob 'sparkplug' holly when he was a 'racing car driver'
isaac became kane
the ringmaster became stone cold steve austin
hunter became triple h
bob holly became hardcore holly...he has gone from long dark hair to a very short peroxide blonde hair color
it is interesting to watch these guys wrestle before their more famous gimick/persona had started

There is currently wrestling on Smackdown one wrestler who is on his third persona
1 Fake Kane
2 Festus
3 Luke Gallows
Of course before the WWE he may have had other names .
Others
Kevin Nash was Diesel (HBK's bodygaurd)
Scott Hall was Razor Ramone
Sean Waltman was also 1-2-3 Kid, X-Pac, Syxx, Syxx-Pac,6-Pac and out of the ring as MR China

i don't know about that, i prefer the wrestling from the 1970's & 1980's to what they do now, but that's just my opinion
