what is it with WWE these days? looks like the last one to leave turns out the lights the rate the stars are 'retiring' from wrestling, then suddenly appearing on TNA months later. Next vince mcmahon will buy TNA to stop it taking his money

It could also be a spoiler ;)

while back on raw, i noticed that they paid homage to ''dr. death steve williams'' who passed away from throat cancer

on a lighter note i wonder whether they'll revert back to the phrase 'raw is war' ?
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Was a big fan of Steve Williams' Japanese matches, especially with Kenta Kobashi.

Read the results of the 2 Monday night shows, Impact sounded like a mess with too much nonsense being crammed in, but finished with a great match, Raw sounded boring except for the Bret Hart stuff.

Also appearing will be Paul London, Sheik Abdul Bashir and a favourite of mine El Generico.

Former ECW and WWE star Tajiri has also been added to this show. With him, Williams, Dutt, London and Generico this should be an excellent show.

Former WWF wrestler Tony Halme (better known as Ludvig Borga) was found dead in his home on January 10.

Possibly another death due to drugs.

WOW! Just watched last week's TNA, the first on a Monday night in the US and I was blown away.
Great seeing Scott Hall, X-pac, Nasty Boys, Ric Flair, Hulk, Jeff Hardy but the highlight of the night was still the Angle v AJ fight, amazing! Good to see Sting up in the rafters again. Made me even more annoyed the tour had been cancelled.
It really did live up to their name, Total Nonstop Action, you never knew what was happening next and it was just non stop and took me back to the great days of the 90s when WCW was as its peak.

I was a bit disappointed to be honest:

-the X division match in the "cage" was a complete dud and only Jeff Hardy's appearance rescued it slightly
-the women's matches were ok
-the Hulk + Hall & Waltman segment was pretty lame and only Bischoff's mic work fixed it up to some extent
-Taz is still an ordinary "color" commentator. Bring back Don West!
-the surprise appearances from Flair, Hardy, etc helped the show, no doubt
-Angle & Styles are always quality

I want TNA to succeed, but it still has the feel of old WCW shows where they taped episodes at a Disney studio.
(Note that I watched the edited 2 hr version of the original 3 hr show)

Nothing wrong with a feel of old school WCW as it was a stroke of genius which led to the best days of wrestling.

Nah wasn't ripping into TNA as much you think, just that it couldn've been slightly better in parts.
There's obviously a minor revolution happening in TNA at the moment, so there might be a few things botched along the way.

I hardly watch Raw or any other WWE show these days, so can't really compare, but I'm not surprised it was boring!
