Re: Restaurant & Pub Reviews
What's your favourite smelling fast food outlet? The one that makes you wanna go in there and eat everything?
I eat Maccas or HJ's maybe once a year, KFC a couple of times a year and although they do smell nice, whenever I walk past my local subway it takes every bit of me to not go in, the smell is exquisite.
My go to sub:
Chicken on Italian Herbs with cheddar cheese.
Tomato, cucumber, capsicum, jalapeno, red onion, carrot with pepper and salt topped with Southwest chipotle sauce.

Re: Restaurant & Pub Reviews
Italian herbs, old english cheese, ham, baby spinach, carrot, cucumber, capsicum, olives, tomato, beetroot, red onion, honey mustard, S&P
On occasion I substitute meatballs for ham, drop the honey mustard sauce & beetroot, and possibly add bacon if I'm feeling extra fat

I boycotted them for ages when they whacked a tariff on the beetroot.
Years ago my exes family would go to HJ's with a heap of 2 for 1 vouchers for the whoppers, you had to pay extra for cheese though so they'd not eat them til they got home and add their own cheese.

No AB mal?
The alternative use for lamb hadn't been discovered yet.

The Fresh Egg Shop
OG Road Klemzig
Where I often buy me eggs
They have a dining area behind the shop
Today a group of us had Lunch
A few traditional Dutch choices on the menu
I went for the bacon and egg role 8.3
Very impressed with the quaint set up with lots of orange
Meals excellent
Prices right for the tucker we had
Service exceptional 9.5
Had a Vanilla Square for dessert - the custard had a tangy unique taste, perhaps the best VS Ive had 9.5
Will I go back, absolutely yes, keen to try some of their Dutch Meals

Daintree Siesta
Pan seared barra with chips and a very questionable salad, 2 pieces of sliced cucumber and a little piece of tomato.
Thankfully chips were good and the barra was really enjoyable.
Sticky date pudding with ice cream. - solid but probably slightly over priced.
Service- 10
Food - 7.75
Ambience- 9
Value - about mid range.

Yeah.
It’s ok but I wouldn’t rush back.
Plenty of other better burger joints around.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

The Mrs has a garlic and onion allergy and after checking with Port Burger they have neither in their burgers, hence my interest, reckon we will give them a go
