Use ran all over us in the last, we just couldn’t stop the run. And kicking 1.7 in the first didnt help our cause at the end.
CLG have won games in the 4th quarter with fitness against SMOSH and Pooraka. A big pre season doing wonders for the squad. It's easy to spot from the sidelines when CLG just have that much more gas in the tank in the final quarter.
so a supporter can not yell out in support of his team talk smack anymore ????
i would be ashamed if one of my supporters resorted to violence over words and would hope the club took the right measures but hey its kilburn what do you expect they always been feral on the field and in the crowd
cannot let this go unchallenged. have watch Kilburn on and off over many years in opposition and have found them to be hard and mainly fair[ish] on the field , like most teams. have never had any strife on the sidelines . can always expect a bit of crap from the moundmen but that's part of the trip to kilburn
Old_mate21 wrote:In fairness the scuffle that started in the crowd was because a Mitchan supporter was being a bit over the top. When one of the Kilburn supporters told him to shut up he got lippy and the guys son stepped in. Interestingly your supporter went quiet after that. No one goes out to put people hospital and that is the last thing we want to happen. Everyone forgets at the end of the day it is just a game that is supposed to be enjoyed by players and supporters in the right spirit unfortunately that is forgotten from AFL all the way to grassroots level. I do hope the guy recovers quickly and it doesn’t affect his life away from footy too much.
the crowd scuffle the father and son from kilburn have form seen it first hand the dad can fight but is old runs his mouth and when people respond to him his son steps in looking for a fight who also can fight.....violence in the crowd should not be tolerated but this will get swept under the rug because kilburn have no balls to challenge the father son in question.
and when you say in fairness the mitcham supporter was over the top so what they are words if simple minded people have to resort to violence then what sort of club is kilburn
Ha ha clearly Rob Stark has all the answers. The Snitcham supporter was making personal threats to the young guy on Kilburn’s side. The Kilburn supporter told him to shut his mouth. He then had a go back and his son then stepped in. Ever heard of the old saying talk sh** get hit? Do I condone violence? Not at all but I also don’t believe in running my mouth unless you are going to back it up. The type of language used by the Mitcham supporter is just as poor an example of sportsmanship to any young person as violence. You say they are only words, most teen suicides are a result of only words so I hope you actually have a better understanding of current issues than to shoot the they are only words line.
so the only action possible was violence i can think of 4 or 5 other things to resolve the situation before it would come to violence but going by how you reply each time to anything i say violence would be the first option you would lean towards.....
1.Match day officals 2.Committee members would be at the game 3.walk away 4.approach the person and ask them to relax and watch ya team win a good game of football 5.walk away
all these i would do first before even resorting to violence i value my life more then a slanging match at the footy
There was no violence just words. You weren’t there Robb you’re just running your mouth off 3rd hand info again as usual. Once again your anti Kilburn propaganda coming out probably cause you got rejected from our B grade.
Typical shriek to play it all down never ever been out to kilburn to play or would ever but ehhh nothing like a lawyer to make up a story.... Run along and help some criminal back on the streets
Robb I cant make it any clearer by saying I don’t condone violence. Just let that first sentence sink in for a moment because clearly it takes you a little longer to comprehend things. You say you value your life more than a slanging match so I’m guessing you have worked out not to run your mouth for there will be times you get called out on it? Is that your point? I do question why you think it acceptable behaviour for people to lean over and make personal remarks about players? Is that what you view as normal behaviour at sporting events? People don’t go out on the field with the intentional purpose to put people in hospital. You want to sit on your high horse and discredit two people from the footy club for their actions whilst justifying the actions of someone else?

Didn’t deny that you’re running your mouth off third hand information. Helping criminals isn’t what I do, exposing bullshit artists like you is.
Well done to your lads, goal up at 3/4 time then you just blew us out of the water. Could have been a lot worse if you had kicked straight. You’ll cause some damage if you keep playing like that.
