Just think about what you wrote and see if it adds up.

Soft + verbally challenged = Tregenza. Yep seems to add up to me....

He has done more in footy than any of you chumps who write on here. Dont think he would have lasted at SANFL level or AFL level if he was so soft. Pretty rich coming from blokes playing amatuer footy.

Well said Sturtman. Amazes me people like Push in the Back pass judgement from their armchair. He played over 100 AFL games, 4 or 5 SANFL premierships and a couple of runners up in the Magarey. I've only met him 3 times but have found him affable and personable and the boys who have had more to do with him than me are raving about his manner so I would suggest he will fit in very nicely.

I'd imagine it's nearly as hard to breathe up here as it is to keep your balance with a chip on your shoulder. ;)

You sound like you were a real hard nut " Push in the Back" in your time?
Why don't you disclose your contribution to football & where you played etc..so we can all judge whether you've achieved anywhere near what Simon Tregenza has in his career.

can anyone confirm broadview have lost-
ryan richter to sal north
tyson zorich to trinity
marty porter interstate
sudjai cook to ?
also i believe as of 2 weeks ago the coach from last year had still not been paid in full. whats going on with the finances, are they going to be able to afford the recruits leal is bringing from freeling. i would say freeling are far more financial and these guys would be taking big cut to play at broadview. stuart lamond, josh newberry are 2 of the players going there is there any more?
shirtfront u seem to be in the know at broadview maybe you can comment

It appears Shirtfront has gone AWOL. Paris Fowden is another 'croc' from Freeling, the other 2 wouldn't get out of bed for less than $200.
Thainy would be spinning in his grave !!

Come on "push in the back" reveal your long list of achievments on lets stack it up against Trigga's. You are the one that is soft, to bag someone who is/was a lot better footballer than you, behind a computer screen.

You wouldn't say that Tregenza was the hardest player in the port teams of the 80's and 90's, but he was definately the best wingman, which in my opinion is a position only played well by smart footballers.

Being a 'hard' player hasn't got anything to do with how good a player you are, I have seen some players with low skill abilities do some of the hardest things.

and im not a treg fan but callin him soft is a bit harsh, he was an extremely smart footballer, hence why he dominated the wings for his career!!

I wish my bar at home had the photos that his has got - this bollocks that keeps coming up here about hardness is laughable.

Every good team has a balance - look at any successful team - its all about balance. I have never supported any team that Tregenza played for, but I respect him for what he has achieved, which is far better than most people bagging him

have picked up a few fringe A1 players from Henley + a few others. Have kept the majority of last years team, most are pretty young so should have a pretty solid side. Good chance of finals.
