Pretty comprehensive win, 8 vote margin! Only stand out player for Athelstone so would have got all their votes, good player.

I'd heard a rumour that Sheeds was considering retiring at the end of this season. Been good for a long time and congrats to him.

I'm always impressed with how evenly the selectors for the team of the year distribute their selections amongst the Clubs. Hard to argue with the result though.
Hopefully the worst of the weather clears before the main game tomorrow, otherwise you'll see a lot of people huddling under the shelter at Daly Oval!

Andrew Geddes or try maybe possibly Brad Geddes?
Brett Ebert had a very consistent year as a forward pocket. Just cos he didn't play midfield and win a magarey medal dont mean he wasnt elite in the comp or in his role. Could go close in best & fairest

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 1 - 2018
One goal in it at half time then ROCS came out with an 8 goal to zip third quarter
Given the 24 months TTG has had I'd love to see them do it. I tend to think it's ROCS to lose.
O'Malley didn't play the last which would have been precaution but Coat limped off pretty sore

I was extremely impressed with what I saw ROCS deliver today. Ball use was brilliant considering the conditions (far better than PNU anyway). They were way to quick for pnu all over the ground, but particularly through the midfield.
Their use of the ball going into forward 50 was on another level compared to pnu.
On a big deck next they will be even better suited (plus practically the home ground advantage).
Will be a cracking game to watch for sure.

That 3rd qtr was ultra impressive .... 9 goals to none. Payneham's midfield pressure dropped off completely and ROCS mids did what they want. Also couldn't believe the space the PNU defenders gave Fantasia and Coad. I thought Fantasia was BOG after an uncharacteristic poor performance the week before. Will O'malley played and although he didn't look 100% today he will no doubt be better next week.

Yeah Fantasia was huge across HF today.
Although the game was even at half time, it seemed like only a matter of time before rocs blew it open.

Seen all teams this year and if Rostrevor replicate that style of football next week they will be back to back premiers.
The most impressive display I have seen this year. They are very well organised unit on field.

Pretty sure Goodies are by far the clubhouse leader on continuous years in D1. Who's next? TTG and ROCS?
